Nour Haj
Nour is a summer law student at Samantha Eisen & Company. She is currently completing her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School and is expected to graduate in 2027.
Nour is passionate about advocacy with a particular interest in family law and access to justice. Throughout her legal education, she has focused on developing strong, practical advocacy skills and a client-centered approach to legal problem-solving.
During law school, Nour has developed her advocacy skills through competitive mooting and negotiations, and she represented Osgoode Hall Law School at the 2026 Walsh Family Law Moot. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, where she provided clients with legal resources to help them navigate difficult circumstances. Through this experience, Nour gained meaningful insight into the barriers clients face when accessing legal services and developed practical tools to help reduce these barriers.
Prior to joining the firm, Nour gained legal experience working at a personal injury law firm, where she supported clients who were involved in motor vehicle accidents. Through working closely with clients, she learned the importance of trauma-informed practice and compassionate support. This experience also showed Nour how meaningful itis for clients to be informed and to feel heard at every stage of their legal matter.
Nour brings the same approach to her work in family law. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients as they navigate complex and emotionally challenging matters.

Kaitlyn Matthews
Kaitlyn is a summer law student at Samantha Eisen & Company. She is currently completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto Jackman Faculty of Law and is expected to graduate in 2027.
During her first two years of law school, Kaitlyn gained experience across a wide range of family law matters as an intake volunteer and student caseworker in the Family Law Division at Downtown Legal Services. In her second year, she was a student caseworker at the Family Justice Centre with Pro Bono Students Canada, where she assisted volunteer family lawyers in providing legal advice and preparing court forms. As a law student extern with the Health Justice Program at St. Michael’s Academic Family Health Team, she helped provide legal support across a variety of issues affecting clients' health and wellbeing, including housing, human rights, wills, social assistance, and family law.
Prior to law school, Kaitlyn was involved in youth mentorship and community-based programs serving vulnerable populations. Through her volunteer work with Youth Assisting Youth and the YMCA Newcomer Youth Centre, she supported young people from diverse families and backgrounds in navigating educational, social, and personal challenges through a client-centred approach.
Through these experiences in family law and interdisciplinary settings, Kaitlyn has developed an understanding for the complex challenges that accompany family transitions and the importance of trauma-informed advocacy. She is interested in all areas of family law, particularly supporting survivors of gender-based violence and intimate partner violence.
